Sales associate in the lumber and construction materials department of The Home Depot. Responsibilities include helping customers with their projects by referring them to our best available products, using machinery to cut lumber to different sizes at the customer's request, helping customers load and unload building materials, working with other associates to load and unload trucks related to construction materials, and maintaining a safe and visually appealing work environment through routine cleaning and organization procedures.

During my several months working at Cascade Engineering, I worked 12 hour shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week. During work, my position required me to stay on my feet for a majority of those 12 hours while assembling and stacking freshly-made trash, recycling, and storage bins, while using computers to maintain accurate counts of output and scrap. I also frequently helped maintain a clean and safe environment through a variety of cleaning processes and was chosen to train several new associates during my time there.Did not work while actively taking courses at Miami University (Late August-Early December)

Throughout my several years working at Forest Hills Foods, I held positions both as a cashier and a guest associate, but I was the latter for a majority of my time there. My job consisted of bagging groceries along with several other miscellaneous tasks, but above all I was in the job of customer service. I gained extensive experience dealing with a large, diverse, and consistently changing customer base through these years, which I can transfer to any career I have moving forward.
