Credit Analyst
CurrentResearch, review, and evaluate financial and trade credit information for both for-profit and non-profit entities. These include hospitals, health systems, long-term care facilities, local and state governments, schools and school districts, etc.Credit analysis includes the following:- Gathering audited financial statements, cost reports, and quarterly statements from a plethora of sources- Perform financial condition analysis, ratio analysis, and statistical analysis- Investigate sources of credit and cretic reports from rating agencies, trade payment reporting services, and credit bureaus- Prepare summaries, presents facts, and offer opinions concerning credit worthiness and any risk items or issues- Concisely present analysis, reports and presentations for review and approval from CFOAdditionally, the analyst will maintain a database of new and existing credit profiles, maintain a repository of credit approval documentation, and evaluate prospective client's impact on overall portfolio risk. Monitor current accounts, noting payment progress, watching for any developing problems, and keep leaders informed. Monitor portfolio risk and identify risk exposure and risk factors.
