Jacob Dachs represents owners, developers, and investors in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, and leasing. He also has extensive experience serving as counsel for borrowers and lenders in the negotiation and execution of commercial mortgage loans and asset-backed finance, as well as revolving and syndicated credit facilities.A significant portion of Jacob's practice involves the representation of both buy- and sell-side financial institutions in negotiating derivatives, and other trading and credit agreements including ISDA master agreements and related documentation. In addition, Jacob routinely advises corporate entities with respect to large-scale commercial hedging of commodities, currency and interest rate risk. Similarly, Jacob assists mortgage Borrowers and Lenders in reviewing and negotiating interest rate cap agreements and swaps in connection with commercial mortgage loans. In the asset management space, Jacob has advised investment managers on private fund structuring, fund formation (including the formation of JV and co-invest vehicles), and compliance with various regulatory requirements. Individual and institutional investors have also called upon Jacob for assistance with real estate, venture capital, private equity, and hedge fund investments, as well as the structuring of family offices and other wealth-management solutions.
