Invasive Procedures Nurse
CurrentAs a nurse in interventional radiology I play a crucial role in patient care by conducting pre-procedure assessments, educating patients, assisting the radiologist during procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs. I am also responsible for administering moderate sedation medications, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. I oversee patient recovery, manage pain, and provides post-procedure instructions. Additionally, I collaborate closely with the healthcare team, maintain accurate documentation, adhere to safety protocols, and implement infection control measures to ensure the highest standards of care throughout the interventional radiology process.
