--performed financial due diligence on approximately 35 transactions with combined purchase prices of over $50 billion, individually ranging from $5 million to $30 billion in a wide range of industries for private equity and corporate clients, with a focus on traditional media and entertainment and new media clients and targets.--buy-side financial diligence work focused primarily on the quality of recurring earnings (including carve-out and integration considerations), quality of the target company’s balance sheet, establishing target working capital, analyzing forecasts, and commenting on stock purchase agreements. Value added findings for clients included the discovery of unsupportable earnings of prior acquisitions, unrealistic forecast projections, deferred capital expenditures, identification of off-balance sheet liabilities, net working capital adjustments, and inappropriately applied accounting standards.--coordination of other service lines (tax, integration, human capital, etc.) within Ernst & Young on transaction related projects. --led internal and external training sessions over a variety of topics, including the debt offering process, trends in the media and entertainment industry, the financial diligence process for clients other transaction advisors--responsible for the supervision, development and mentoring/coaching of the managers, senior accountants and staff on his teams.

--responsible for day to day oversight of financial statement and internal control audits of large, international SEC registered companies in the media ad entertainment, manufacturing, distribution, and retail industries. These audits discovered material adjustments to financial statements and identification of internal controls weaknesses.--Special projects included the audit of the conversion of financial statements from Australia GAAP to US GAAP, SOX 404 planning and implementation, purchase accounting for acquisitions totaling more than $7 billion, and debt offering and registration related comfort letters for $1.2 billion of debt.
