After years of rapid growth and the acquisition of two competitors, Progressive's results turned negative in 2014. I joined the company as right-hand man for the new CFO, as part of the efforts to ensure profitability. When i left the company, it was set to make a profit. Some of my contributions to this were:- Significant improvements in data generation and analysis in several areas. This resulted in new/deep insights into individual customer profitability as well as overall profitability.- Automated monthly reporting procedures, thereby reducing the reporting timeframe significantly- Built a pricing tool for the sales organization. While focusing on user friendliness, the tool also encompasses a high level of configuration options, in order to meet different customer needs. It also served as a “recipe” for other departments when servicing the customer - Mangement reporting, budgeting and forecasting (P/L, BS, CF)

After my initial split role, i moved into the position head of the Rainmaking finance department: - Overall responsibility for internal and external reporting - Denmark, UK and Germany - Cash-flow management - Due diligence in relation to exits - IT systems responsible
