Twin Fires formed just over three years ago, playing some of Sydney’s premier venues as well as touring internationally and domestically. They have played along some of Australia's biggest names as well as boutique festivals. Playing within the band and acting as co-management has greatly furthered my insight and appreciation into the Sydney live music scene and industry, as well as assisting in gaining rapports with other musicians, artist and industry representatives.

My responsibilities with T2 are typical to a sales assistant role. I provide detailed information and assistance to the customers about the large variety of teas and home wares that T2 sell.

I was employed to assist in the management of label logistics and promotions for artists signed to the label. My role included managing the labels general timeline, reviewing and managing timelines for releases, handling customer purchases and deliveries, registering releases with AMRAP/AIRIT and unit production responsibilities. My role evolved to include Public Relations responsibilities on a national scale for releases. This included the physical servicing of releases to radio.

I was employed to assist in the management of artists on the company’s roster and general office management. My responsibilities were mostly shared between tracking any online/print media coverage for the artists, keeping their EPK’s up to date and assisting in organising logistics and itinerary’s for national and international tours as well as a multitude of other tasks that managing an artist will require. I worked heavily on Seekae’s ‘Test & Recognise Tour’ 2014 as well as planning routes for ‘The Worry’ tour through Europe.

Running food and taking orders whilst coordinating other wait staff contribute to the majority of my duties at the Deus Café in Camperdown. The restaurant enjoys large amount customers and shares its location with Deus Ex Machina, the motorcycle and clothing store. Building strong professional relationships with other staff and customers whilst maintaining a high level of commitment to my basic duties was my primary focus.

I began employment for Century Venues as the Production Supervisor for the Sydney Comedy Store. I gained valuable experience in theatre production, supervising staff, stage management and the stand up comedy industry in Sydney. After several months, I changed position within the company to Office Assistant, where I learnt a vast array of administrative skills. I was simultaneously processing the artist enquiries for the Vanguard, Newtown. During this time I began to control all Century Venues’ responsibilities concerning the Vanguard, including; Settlements, Contracts, Artist Bookings and enquires, and Ticketing. I also gained valuable contacts and industry experience.
