My current job role entails:-Writing and publishing site content in line with Company guidelines.-Preparing site content for translation by liaising with the International Content department and importing translated text using our content management system.-Arranging and testing translations of marketing emails as well as other customer communications.-Proofreading content prior to publication.-Regularly reviewing all site content, fixing any live errors, and ensuring it is both up to date and compliant with regulatory requirements.-Working collaboratively on individual and team projects.

As well as helping out as a Customer Excellence Advisor in busy periods, Jacob has used his skills in undergraduate and postgraduate studies in his role as a Marketing Assistant. Thus far in this role, Jacob has developed internal and external content plans for the business which has allowed Jacob to use his creative flair as well as knowledge regarding staff and potential customers. Additionally, the job has allowed him to use a range of software such as Google Analytics as well as learning how to navigate and implement our employee app to ensure internal communication is effective. From this role, Jacob has had to be analytical when producing reports of engagement and find ways to improve engagement from customers and employees. Furthermore, the role has allowed Jacob to work on a range of research projects such as ways to improve the employee app as well as ways to attract customers to the company through different methods of communication. Other job roles also include managing the companies Facebook page and replying to any queries from policyholders.

During Jacob's time at Principal Insurance, he has picked up a range of transferable skills. One of them being teamwork as his role included being as part of an ever-changing team, with teamwork on the task being imperative to good customer service. Organisation was another key part of Jacob's role with him having to organised his workload by day to ensure that everything was done in the set time frame. Jacob is also a customer advisor in a busy call centre which highlights that he can work in fast-paced environments. From the job role, he has had to be analytical on people's policies to ensure that the customer is getting the right insurance cover. Jacob has been able to be more creative due to speaking to customers and adjusting his calls based on the customer's needs.
