I'm a software engineer and mathematics researcher with a background in database and web development.I specialize in cloud databases and distributed systems. At Fauna, I developed software to improve the experience of developers working with Fauna's serverless data API. I worked in database development and operations on both the client and server sides. On the DevEx team, I implemented tools and designed services to ease database operations and DevOps. On the Database team, I designed new query language ideas to simplify writing queries.I have a successful track record executing ambitious or challenging projects. At Google, I worked on a project that applied machine learning to improve cell phone coverage, with a training set sourced from petabytes of network quality data. Our initial experiments significantly improved data transfer speeds for 13% of customers in the coverage area. I specialized in geospatial data and computational geometry at MarkLogic.
