Leading Shyp Operations across four cities and responsible for all aspects of the operation, including: ~100 Employees, execution of strategic initiatives, developing and sustaining our cores processes, maintaining and improving quality, management of our Facility + Fleet + Inventory, and accountable for our P&L statements in all markets.

Launched and built our Chicago operation from the ground up. Responsible for the entire operation, team, facility, and fleet of Shyp in Chicago. An integral part of a team that is redesigning the supply chain throughout the medical center. - Managed the implementation of an enterprise wide, RFID-based inventory management system, including hardware and software design, installation, and troubleshooting. - Managed a performance scorecard for our a supplier and discussed performance with leadership monthly. - Participated in multiple Kaizen events within Supply Chain and other departments. - Redesigned the receiving dock to increase same day deliveries from 66% to 97%.- Managed the implementation of a handheld receiving and delivery tracking system for the receiving dock.- Practical experience in using lean techniques and methodologies to drive change.> UHC Presenter - October 2013 - "Supply Chain Transformation at University of Chicago Medicine"

• Managed a department of 8 employees and 15 concurrent improvement projects. Interviewed, hired, and supervised 6 students.• Planned an implementation of a hospital wide scheduling system• Coordinated a full assessment of a patient care unit including time studies of all workflows and process mapping• Developed and implemented a project management methodology within the department

Successfully lead four improvement projects in the Materials division during a single coop term. - Coordinated a number conversion of over 8,500 inventory items across four facilities and three inventory systems - Redesigned an inventory delivery process to reduce the number of deliveries by 50% and time spent delivering by workers by 20%

- Awarded for implementing process improvement outside of my job requirements - Streamlined the manual writing process and reduced the number of backordered manuals from over 100 to zero- Created and edited basic mechanical engineering designs
