At Washington Avenue Advisors, my role was to communicate with new clients in the assessment of goals, values, and financial situation during on-boarding as well as with current clients to obtain updates, enact transactions, and set review meetings. I was also entrusted with the execution of strategic initiatives on the enterprise level as directed by the two founders and partners at the firm. Beyond those responsibilities, I crafted financial plans for the five lead advisors (using eMoney), coordinated seminar/event planning, built systems for tracking data on the firm's ROI, lead conversion rate, and monthly sales activity. In many cases, designing the financial plans involved preparing detailed research and case analyses on which insurance and investment strategies would best fit the individual client. I also developed business opportunities by setting our Financial Literacy Workshops for resident physicians in hospital programs and by implementation/coordination of new marketing initiatives such as website design, social media management, and marketing pieces.

While at Jackson National, I obtained my series 6 and 63, Life and Variable Contracts licenses. I also completed an in-depth training program covering the financial industry with a focus on investments/retirement vehicles and presentation/meeting skills. In my role, I managed the sales process within a territory, made proactive phone calls, tracked opportunities, and established new financial advisor relationships while maintaining the preexisting relationships. This led to my exceeding the territory goal for sales from my first months on the job.

During my time at Palace Sports & Entertainment (PS&E), I became proficient in data analysis, Q&A reports, and Customer Relationship Management (SalesForce). I also learned valuable team-building and leadership skills from a "Business Competition" given to the interns by the executive board, the goal of which was to come up with an idea to sell more tickets and was presented to the executive board at PS&E.
