As a Senior member of the Mayor's Neighborhood Advocate team, I contribute to supporting the Director of Community Outreach by envisioning new community engagement initiatives and taking the lead building effective cross-sectional relationships with our office and external partners. I assist in the onboarding process for new team members and lead internal and external community outreach meetings in the director's absence. I also assist in preparing for meetings, address inquiries from local neighborhoods/stakeholders, and actively contribute to raising awareness of our enterprise's programs and resources. Additionally, I fulfill all responsibilities from my previous role.

As one of Mayor Joe Hogsett's Neighborhood Advocates, I play a pivotal role in fostering stronger connections within Indianapolis. Not only do I facilitate direct communication between residents, business owners, and the city government but I also serve as a public relations liaison to the mayor's office. Through my efforts, I enhance transparency, engagement, and collaboration, ensuring that the concerns and voices of our citizens are not only heard but also effectively addressed.

In this role I increased capacity of JBNC and community partners that led to increased efforts in neighborhood engagement, connecting neighbors to services that provide them a way out of poverty by targeting community development goals in housing, arts-based community development, education, and place making initiatives.

As a Family Assistant, I managed the design and buildout of a $45,000 in-home library, acting as the main liaison between the principal, design firm, and construction teams. I coordinated complex travel arrangements, oversaw household staff, and managed property maintenance and contractor projects. I created an English enrichment program to support the principal’s Dutch-national daughter while also being responsible for the family's meal prep, grocery shopping, and errands to ensure the household operated smoothly.

As a Partnership Outreach Coordinator at RunBetter, I researched over 300 races, including 5Ks, half marathons, and ultra-marathons, to identify opportunities for collaboration. I established connections with race organizers, pitching our treadmill app that simulates course elevations to enhance runner preparation. I secured 10 new race partnerships through strategic outreach and relationship-building, driving visibility and adoption of the RunBetter platform.
