As a Ryan White HIV Peer Navigator specializing in Linkage and Retention, I provide vital peer-to-peer support to individuals newly diagnosed with HIV or those re-engaging in care. My role involves guiding individuals through the complex healthcare system, identifying necessary services, and offering emotional, educational, and social support. Collaborating with the Linkage Team and community partners, I facilitate a seamless transition for patients entering or re-entering care at the 550 Clinic, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources to begin their HIV treatment or prevention services. My passion lies in engaging, informing, and empowering individuals eligible for Ryan White services, striving to make a meaningful impact in their healthcare journey.
