Worked as a system lead and manager of a team of consultants on a project for the Colorado Department of Revenue integrated tax system. Responsible for day to day upkeep of the system, specific integrity of compliance system components (Data Warehouse, Discovery, Audit, Collections, Billing, etc...), requirements gathering, design decisions, research analysis, and strategic project implementation. Accomplished this through coordinating a team of technical resources of various experience levels to meet deadlines and achieve goals set internally and by the client. Day to day activities included planning, evaluation, preparing deliverables, task assignment, roadblock removal, work assistance, solution review and approval, training/knowledge transfer, and performance evaluations. Occasionally had additional contributions to FAST, including:- Training and development through leading week long programs for company new hires as well as client developers using company provided material as well as own contributions. This entails facilitating presentations and administering exercises in a classroom setting as well as educating and encouraging self-learning through a workshop setting.- Conducting final interviews and providing feedback on potential new hires. - Assisting in building out new software environments to meet a script for demonstrations given to potential clients.

Worked as a lead consultant on a production support project for the Minnesota Department of Revenue integrated tax system. Responsible for design decisions, system integrity/performance upkeep, and general maintenance on subsystems including data warehousing, analytics, lead discovery, financials, and revenue accounting.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana Area

Worked in Boise ID on a project for the Idaho State Tax Commission and in Baton Rouge LA at the Louisiana Department of Revenue as part of a team upgrading and maintaining an existing integrated tax processing system. Specifically worked on imaging, compliance activities, and data warehousing. Responsibilities included configuring the system, requirements gathering, meeting regular deadlines, creating client documentation, and working on special projects.
