After over a decade of working with Latin Street Music & Dancing in a contracted role, I am thrilled to have joined their core team as Director of Operations & Business Development as of July 2023. Latin Street, a unique company operating in adult education and entertainment, has been the largest independently owned entity of its kind in the Midwest for over 25 years, with its main location in Chicago's South Loop and extension campuses in the suburbs. My role involves improving daily operations including curriculum development, human resources, B2B and B2C sales and marketing, and special event production. Additionally, I engage directly with clients through dance instruction and DJ services in rhythms such as Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, and Brazilian Zouk. I aim to lead Latin Street through a transformative expansion process, particularly through franchising, a feat no other U.S. company in our niche has accomplished.Before my current position at Latin Street, I was Director of Business Development at Visual Feeder, a Chicago startup known for revolutionizing out-of-home advertising with immersive technology. I worked closely with the co-founders to build client relationships and grow the company's revenue. Visual Feeder has collaborated with major clients such as Nike, Lyft, Hilton, and the CDC.Previously, I founded Just Jacob Ventures LLC in 2013, a business and entertainment solutions company. We have worked with a wide range of clients across various sectors, offering expertise in strategic development, enterprise transformation, and customer growth.
