I know my way around AWS like it's my own neighborhood. I can build you a REST API over my lunch break and the simplicity of the Java Spark framework ignites my passion. The Spring Boot framework is a mess and I don't like it.One thing I really like? Type safety. Seriously. Why would you build a large scale application with multiple developers and no guarantees about data types. The thing about dynamic typing is you still have to worry about types, you just don't have a super powerful compiler helping you out. So if you reach out to me for an opportunity, make sure it's for a statically typed language. These include Java, Scala, C# and C++. I am not interested in working with Python, Javascript, Ruby or Perl.Alright, if you made it this far it means you're actually reading my profile. Excellent, because this is the stuff I really want to talk about. I've been building drones from scratch for over four years now as a hobby. That includes researching and purchasing each individual component - motors, ESC's, flight controller, battery, camera, gimbal, etc and then wiring it all together to make a machine that actually flies. It's pretty cool, so if I could put these skills to use for a profession that'd be awesome. I've spent years honing my mastery of the entire ecosystem of technology that makes drones work. GPS, PID loops, 3-phase motors, the list goes on. If it's part of a drone, I know how to work with it.
