Danish Water Forum is a network organisation that works to promote cooperation and knowledge sharing in the water sector. The activities aim at spreading information about Danish water technologies and expertise globally

The company is among the ten largest service companies in Denmark and has approx. 500 employees. The development department handled interdisciplinary projects that typically involved multiple departments in the organization like consumer concepts, special machines for the production or IT solutions. The department made frequent use of external consultants and subcontractors.My tasks were: - People management - Concept and solution development together with the team - Engineering program management (Scope, budget, time- and quality) - Resource planning - Contracts and preparation of EU tenders - Communication and stakeholder management - Company Strategy implementationDepartment's main results:• Building a national network of 12 recycle stations with unmanned robot systems: 1.Concept development (UX, logistics, operations, production) 2.Development of technical solution across multiple suppliers also abroad 3.Deployment and pilot operation 4.Follow-up on operations and process optimization 5.Operations transfer by use of BPM and ITIL methods• Establish a monitoring and supervision system for technical equipment (SCADA)• Development of machines for the production• Development of technical solutions for the retailers in store recycle stations• Establish an open and transparent prioritization process for IT development tasks

Freelance consultant specializing in security systems and cash management. Customers were mainly banks and suppliers of cash management systems.Key projects:• Project Manager for Gunnebo AB with stakeholders in Denmark, Sweden and France. The project was developing a new intelligent solution for securing drop boxes in banks.• Management of a web portal project based on Windows Azure Cloud and .Net with teams from Denmark and Ukraine.• Setup and operation of webshop based on the Magento platform

The company had approx. 60 employees and was the market leader in intelligent cash transport systems, tracking, video and access control systems. My department was responsible for developing the company's own product range with R&D, support of sales and operations.- People management- Business development- Product and technology strategy- Resource management- Concept and solution development in close cooperation with customers- Management of pilot projects- Quality assurance of projects- IPR and patent managementMain results:• Development of complete CIT product program in close cooperation with customers as Danske Bank, Post Danmark, Nordea and others.• Development of tracking product portfolio based on GSM, GPS and radio technology.• Partnership with main Irish banks on a new system for the protection of ATMs and their cash transportation.• Establishment of strategic cooperation with Wincor Nixdorf for securing cassettes in ATMs.• Business development in Sweden, England, Slovenia, Ireland and Germany through dealers, exhibitions and long term partnering.

The company was growing and my responsibilities increased in scope and complexity. The company’s own brand of products became an increasingly important part of the solutions. I therefore started a support and development department and to optimize IT operations we outsourced part of the IT tasks.- Product and technology strategy- Procurement and supplier negotiation- People management- Support of customers, technicians and sales- Project development and greater installation tasks- IT operationsMain results:• Expansion of the IT infrastructure with AD, Exchange, SQL, Axapta ERP• Establishment of purchasing department and a modern warehouse facility• Development of own brand of system components for our video installations• Ensured the company's competitiveness by choosing the right components for the portfolio.• Supplier negotiation ensuring we had access to the right components at the right prices.• Introducing a new digital video platform which became the market standard in banks in Denmark for a number of years.
