Built upon existing role of maintaining and improving the Wildsparq SaaS product, while also owning more responsibility around technical training and onboarding new developers, strategizing on how to scale out both the technology and engineering team, and architecture of technical solutions.

One of two full-stack engineers on the team developing across the full product lifecycle to provide support for the Wildsparq SaaS product. This mainly involved improving current processes around internal admin efficiency, building new features and activities for end-user, and refactoring old code to be testable and covering it with tests.

Worked across various software development projects to deliver work for CGI clients. Highlights of project work include:- Documented and mapped data flow and in-depth functionality of various Akana (mainly API proxy) and Tibco (mainly Data transformation) flows to be migrated to Mule- Designed and developed Mule equivalents for the above designs- Developed a conditional engine and related features for a .NET Core financial reporting application- Worked towards incrementing a backwards-incompatiable API service consumed within middleware without breaking current and previous mobile application versions- Additional debugging, design, and production bug fixes within ongoing project work- Designed and built SSIS package to migrate legacy Excel datasheet into a normalized database

Helped team by building up support tooling, removing tech debt, and increasing general usability of the wDesk application. In addition, contributed to the data sharing team's goals of sub-cell linking and in-text source linking for the document engine. Partook in development, review, and quality assurance to ensure accurate, correct, and well-written code.

Worked across multiple micro-services to assist team quarterly goals towards general availability of linking within wDesk. To contribute, I partook in planning, development, code review, writing tests, manual testing, and presenting within stakeholder meetings. Notable work includes removing tech debt, refactoring towards a new internal API, and implementing the linking feature within wDesk's Presentations product.

Maintained and enhanced the ConstructionOnline web app through various tasks and projects, such as:- Implemented the BCrypt Library into existing backend services in order to move from storing plain-text passwords in the database to a hashed password system- Converted legacy backend code to integrate with Amazon Web Services to handle any and all uploads, downloads, etc. with client files, and then migrating existing files from the database to AWS in order to work with this new system- Created a "Newsfeed" web page for clients to view any and all information pertaining to their company profile- Created a company news tool, in order to release updates to clients' Newsfeed- Implemented a custom value system, allowing enhanced customization for client's tasks and logs- Overhauled multiple existing web pages into new layouts in order to present a sleeker and more effective layout- Identified, fixed, and documented hundreds of existing bugs on the website
