At the age of 19, I started writing articles about the semiconductor industry and computer hardware as a hobbyist, as well as writing product reviews. For the first couple of years, it was strictly for fun and in March 2011 I started writing for NordicHardware, building on my hobby level experience. I was quickly tasked with most of the proofreading on the site as well as managing publication of content on the front page.Barely two years later my journey continued at SweClockers where I started out as a news editor. I still managed to make time for product reviews, mostly about notebooks, tablets, and everything in between, while contributing to the technical pages for the CPU and GPU reviews. This role too revolved around proofreading and publishing articles on the site.As time went on, I became Editor-in-Chief, being tasked with running day-to-day operations at SweClockers. This involved duties such as short and long-term content planning, following up on our goals, managing our freelance budget, and working closely with our team producing sponsored content.I later found a passion for the community and my title changed to News Editor and Community Manager at SweClockers. On the editorial side I was able to focus more on subjects that engaged me – writing news articles, contributing to our CPU and GPU reviews, while being the voice for the community internally at parent company and publisher Geeks.As the Community Manager I handled everything related to the forums with 350,000 registered members, guided SweClockers’ team of 15 moderators, and I also set up and maintained a steady flow of member meetups. The most exciting meetup and event I worked on was our 20-year celebration, SweClockers Live! 2019, for which I personally contacted hundreds and managed to gather over 250 paying members from all over Sweden.Almost 14 years later, I’m still here still with a burning passion for the semiconductor industry and computer hardware.
