In this role, my main focus was to perform industrial hygiene and safety services for a wide variety of clients nation-wide. I am well-versed in industrial hygiene sampling and conducting exposure assessments.- Conducted quantitative and qualitative industrial hygiene exposure assessments, involving physical, chemical, and biological hazards across several industries, such as semiconductor, oil and gas, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, maritime, foundry, manufacturing/production, and nanotechnology.- Performed indoor air quality assessments and HVAC inspections.- Performed ventilation assessments for fume hoods, wet benches, and processing tools.- Utilized industrial hygiene programs to create visual deliverables, such as noise maps.- Performed quantitative and qualitative respirator fit testing.-Trained employees on general safety topics through safety presentations.- Created EHS programs for clients.- Assisted with environmental sampling for facility closures.- Conducted literature reviews for client needs and occupational exposure limits.- Assessed and sampled for clients' OSHA Grade D breathing gas quality.

In this role, my main objectives were to provide health education/resources and to improve the health and well-being of the Vietnamese community living in Santa Clara County.-Planned workshops and events centered on providing health resources such as free vaccinations, COVID-19 outreach and education, free blood pressure readings, and hands-only CPR training.- Led focus groups on a variety of topics such as alcohol abuse, young adult mental health, and Asian American identity- Created a senior wellness program that aimed to improve health knowledge and physical/mental health of Vietnamese seniors living in Santa Clara County- Tracked grant deliverables and finances- Assisted in creating events catered for the Vietnamese community such as Black April, Lunar New Year, Tet Trung Thu, etc.- Facilitated workshops about Vietnamese-American intersectionality for youth in the summer SEEDS (Student Engagement & Education for Development & Success) program

Continuing my work with the Office of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), my main objective is to assist EHS Specialists and Industrial Hygienists with maintaining a safe campus environment for UC Berkeley employees, researchers, and students. - Independently conducted workplace evaluations and hazard monitoring for UC Berkeley employees and research labs (ventilation, air sampling, noise sampling, metal sampling, radioactive material sampling, environmental sampling)- Analyzed and interpreted samples and results obtained from monitoring- Generated official reports for campus entities, detailing investigation results and recommendations.

I worked as an industrial hygiene intern within the Office of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). My main objective was to work with other industrial hygienists and EHS staff to maintain a safe, working environment for all UC Berkeley community members.- Assisted in workplace evaluation and monitoring of potential hazards, complaints, and concerns voiced by UC Berkeley staff and students- Observed environmental sampling techniques conducted by water sanitation engineers- Enforced CAL/OSHA and other regulatory agency standard guidelines- Advocated for an expansion and re-evaluation of health and safety training topics required for UC Berkeley outdoor workers

- Created health education material for HIV/AIDS affected community members- Worked with medical professionals/community members to do weekly medical check-ins and provide support and administrative care (COVID-19 outreach, prevention, and support)- Engaged with community members through assistance with the Food4Life Program (food pantry and resource deliveries)
