In my time working in telecommunications and export services, I’ve had numerous interactions with people both electronically and face to face. I’ve acquired a combined total of 11 years in customer service experience. This has prepared me for the medical field when obtaining patient trust. To me patient care is multifaceted, patient care requires the highest level of expertise when providing medical care as well as having the patience’s complete assurance that they can rely on you.My journey into the medical field unexpectedly began when I managed a program at a call center, the program was called “Optum”. I personally engaged with patient’s day in and day out scheduling their appointments. The program entailed managing the patients schedule to set appointments, finding practices that would accept their insurance, and setting up transportation to the practice and back home. While running this program I discovered my passion for the medical field and wanted to do something more; this put me on a path to pursue a new endeavor. After saving enough money I decided to go back to school. I explored a multitude of medical modalities and participated in multiple information sessions before realizing my interests in nuclear medicine. I've had the privilege of having clinical rotations at a plethora of nuclear medicine departments. With sheer content I graduated this year and I am now ready to continue my journey in nuclear medicine.
