Acoustical Engineer specialized in concept work in the interfacing areas between PC-software and firmware/hardware. Working since 2011 in a group including highly skilled persons from different areas of research. The group develops many of the company's requirements that are linked to the audiological and psycho-acoustical field and are a vital part of the projects in the concept, design and test phase. I've been involved in projects including both hardware and software development as well as interfaces to external equipment. I enjoy bringing different competences together and using my creative mind to find new and exciting solutions for which I'm known to argue passionately for. I enjoy the dynamic cooperation with the marketing department to find the right balance between a technical elegant solution and the best commercial solution. I have experience both as participant in the technical solutions but also as the project manager of a concept project.At the moment I am in addition acting as Scrum Master for a cross functional team developing sensor based technology and features for hearing aids.A bit of history:In June 2006 I finished my masters degree in Signal Processing Engineering for Electronic systems with specialty in Acoustics from Aalborg University, DenmarkStarted in Oticon A/S, Denmark in august 2006 as a technical audiologist in a department making PC-software used in the hearing clinics to program hearing aids. My work included writing development specifications, testing software releases and coordinating our work with the hearing aid development.
