Research and development of new models and methods to improve forecasting processes throughout the organization. Produce economic analysis of current macroeconomic events and provide quantifiable projections to UPS's core business from such events. Provide expertise and guidance for solving statistical and quantitative problems.

Developed new statistical forecasting models used for monetary policy and aided FOMC decisions by the Bank's president. These efforts included both statistical and structural models that helped quantify the structural constraints evident throughout the economic recovery. Collaborated with senior economists to develop custom research modeling software. The models spanned topics in finance and macroeconomics including topics such as: Dirichlet Process Mixtures, Stochastic Volatility, Adaptive Learning, Markov Switching, Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE), and Model Uncertainty. The software was developed using C++, C, MPI, OpenMP, Matlab, Python, and were deployed on a Linux Cluster.

Develop online tools for large organizations to collaborate and share information using Java/Ruby/Ajax. Maintain mixture of web and database servers.

Led a group of developers and graphic designers in the implementation of projects of my design. These projects were written using j2ee, Struts, junit, Oracle 9i Database, Perl, and xml. Implemented Perl scripts that encrypted and decrypted sensitive information during the transfer of inFusion3’s data from Oracle to the company’s corporate partners.
