My operational experience enabled the complex movement of unmanned family of systems equipment along with salvage personnel and diving equipment from San Diego to Oahu to support this time critical mission in only five days.Expertly deployed the flyaway mixed gas system and Mobile Diving and Salvage Company 1-6 from Oahu to Australia in support of recovery operations for an USMC MV-22 Osprey aircraft that crashed off Australia's coast during TALISMAN SABER 2017.Managed and coordinated the logistics required to deployed three Mobile Diving and Salvage Companies, three Aircraft Carrier Recompression Chamber support teams, and five units of action comprising of over 100 personnel and over 140 tons of expeditionary diving and salvage equipment to support Geographical Combatant Commanders strategic objectives.Worked with PACFLT, THIRDFLT, SEVENTHFLT, USS RONALD REAGAN, Carrier Air Wing FIVE, and EODGRU ONE to seamlessly coordinate the deployment of two recompression chambers to the isolated island of Iwo Jima. The company exceeded all training requirements and completed all Navy mission essential tasks, culminating in the company passing its final evaluation during exercise DAWN BLITZ 2013. Completed over 200 hours of dive supervisor training, including 77 dives, 23 dive casualty drills, and over 100 hours of demolition safety training.Under my leadership nine Sailors qualified as Expeditionary Warfare Specialists, four as Diving and Salvage Warfare Specialists, seven were advanced, three were selected as Junior and Senior Sailors of the quarter, and two completed the Navy's SCUBA course of instruction earning additional Navy enlisted codes. Completed over 50 hours of officer, diving, and demolition training and assisted four company members in qualifying as SCUBA diving supervisors. I completed the arduous explosive ordnance disposal officer qualification process proving my ability to lead the Navy's premiere expeditionary force. Performed duties as a security manager, top secret and secret control officer, diving officer, command duty officer, and maintenance division officer.
