Memberships can include investment management, business CEO planning, custom financial plans, retirement/insurance reviews, quarterly reviews, video trainings, worksheets, newsletters, member-only events to meet other like-minded people, etc. 12+ years in finance has taught me a few key things when it comes to client/adviser relationships. 1. Complication and confusion cause inaction and stress 2. People need advice but always feel the need to have their “guard” up 3. People care about money because of what it can do FOR them 4. Just because the management fee is coming out of the account doesn’t mean it should be ignored. 5. People are grossly overpaying vs. the value they receive 6. Humans want optionsOur team aims to guide business owners, retirees, and individuals to unveil what's possible and pull the financial blindfold off that is draped over most people’s eyes in the traditional financial world. Who am I??I'm Jake! I'm a nerd on finance and money and also love running my own businesses. Currently I am a practicing Partner and Advisor at Redwood Financial Strategies. I also founded Father Figures, which is a podcast/social media brand aimed to help spread ideas and growth strategies to fathers who value the "family first, business second" mantra. We hear from fathers who juggle it all and how they manage kids, spouses, and work. A place for men to get things off their chests and get real advice from Dads. I also co-founded, with my wife, The Healthfull Co. A podcast/social media brand aimed to share health ideas and expand peoples knowledge of wholistic health.My wife owns a coaching/training company as well. Outside of the 4 businesses, you'll find me fishing, golfing, and hunting with my 7 year old son. We play lots of sports, stay active. The 3 of us travel a lot and love camping with our travel trailer.
