Successfully managed the Engine and Powertrain commodities utilized in small and medium off-road construction equipment for a German based OEM. Oversaw supply base, ensuring optimum cost solutions by identifying customer requirements, maintaining supplier relationships, developing sourcing strategies, and finalizing negotiation. Domestic sourcing responsibility of $45M spend 'Engines and Powertrain' and in parallel global Lead Engine Buyer for $118M spend for all 'Engine' platforms.Key accomplishments:☒ Successful engine sourcing activity for 7 production plants in lieu of 2019 EU emission requirements. ☒ Significant cost savings for range of products and commodities through strategic processes and practices resulting in tangible bottom line impact to the business.

I liaised closely with other areas of the business, having full responsibility for two product lines in production planning of raw steel, make vs. buy, fluids, fasteners, seals, lumber, outside services. I drove inventory pipeline management practices and processes to meet customer needs and asset management objectives. I developed and maintained strong customer vendor alliances. I led materials management projects and monitored KPIs and production buying process, following LEAN practices Makigami, Value Stream Mapping used in cost reduction, lead times, and handoffs. I ensured daily, weekly, and monthly plans were communicated throughout the business.

I managed and allocated tasks to team of 40 production operators, and maintained department records relating to volumes, waste, efficiency, quality, and health and safety regulations. I scheduled production for 20 work centers across 3 production shifts (24/7 environment).

During Operation Iraqi Freedom 05', 06', I was ccountable for a platoon of 30 Marines, enforcing daily SOP's, scheduling annual training and managing pre and post deployment operations. Administered corrective and preventive maintenance of over 100 pieces of rolling stock. Dispensed distribution network of equipment, tools, gear supporting numerous units during the Iraq War.
