Hello amigos! My name is Jacob Moran, aka Majorbacon (it's an anagram) and I have spent the last 20+ years helping people of all levels become skilled in the fields of cybersecurity, virtualization, clousd services, scripting, databases, server and desktop administration, networking, and security! I started teaching computers in the fourth grade and since then have taught 80 year-olds how to use a Macintosh and angry IT administrators how to get in touch with their feelings (true story).In my heart of hearts, I'm a teacher, trainer, mentor, and guide. I've realized this back in the fourth grade, when I took a computer class from a nice lady down the street. I learned everything she had to offer but I didn't want to leave because I could help the other kids who were there. She took me on and paid me to help the younger kids, and I knew what my calling was.I've spent about two decades building a skill set that includes networking technologies, server management elements, cloud infrastructure, database and web design and even a little scripting and coding from time to time. I've taught in live classrooms, seminar halls, via web cams, and been recorded for posterity. My voice is deep and rich, and my brain is a little quirky.
