In this temporary contract role with GCSE, I helped the organization navigate operational changes as part of a strategic expansion of international programs. I implemented a Salesforce instance with standard and custom data objects to combine existing disparate data sources on membership, events, contacts, and email subscriptions. Working with the deputy director and staff across the organization, the data structure was designed to eliminate data silos across business and program sides of the organization. I advised two undergraduate interns on data cleanup and import to Salesforce.

Provided administrative support to conferences, webinars, and workshops covering science communication and science policy.

An an intern, I took on several short-term projects to support studies of the Space Studies Board and Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board. I contributed to projects at different stages of the National Academies' study process from project initiation, through the committee process, and to the final publication of committee reports. The tasks I completed ranged from preparing background research material for study committees to providing on-site support for in-person committee meetings.Reports contributed to: Best Practices for a Future Open Code Policy for NASA Space Science, Extraterrestrial Sample Analysis Facilities, Planetary Protection Requirements for Sample-Return from Martian Moons, A Midterm Assessment of Implementation of the Decadal Survey on Life and Physical Sciences at NASA, Space Radiation Effects Testing Infrastructure for the U.S. Space Program, and Assessing the Risks of Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration. Boards/Committees supported: Space Studies Board, Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board, Committee on Astronomy and Astrophysics, and COSPAR.

I co-authored 20 articles on science outreach demonstrations for undergraduate physics students and created a science demonstration supply kit.

I assisted the Dark Energy Survey Calibration Group's spectrophotometric calibrations by performing spectroscopic data reductions and synthetic photometry and analysis using Python and IRAF.

I led recitation-style workshops to assist calculus and introductory physics students with assignments.
