I am the Controller at RefrigiWear. RefrigiWear provides protective gear for extreme environments in the cold storage, outdoor and consumer space among others. Prior to RefrigiWear, I was the VP & Controller of Liquid Waste Management, LLC, a plumbing and liquid waste company that serves industrial, commercial and residential customers in the North Georgia and South Carolina area. Prior to my work at Liquid Waste Management, LLC, I was the Director of Finance at Hansen Technologies Corporation, a global provider of industrial refrigeration valve applications. Due to my leadership and implementation of robust financial internal control procedures, Hansen has received a clean audit opinion for the first time in 8 years. Through the application of automated cash management processes of accounts receivable and payable, I have been able to improve working capital by approximately $800,000 year over year.I have also managed equity based compensation, corporate accounting and executing public filings such as 10k's and proxy statements and led the effort as Director of Internal Audit to document the global internal control structure, including that of 26 international locations, and ensured successful Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Leading a team of 13 as plant controller, we won plant of the year by exceeding corporate’s budget expectations each year that I held the position and drove over 20 million dollars in favorable plant variances.I also played a key role in the planning and acquisition of Rochester Medical Corporation and integration into the Bard Medical’s urology division and our corporate team successfully implemented a tax strategy which saved the company approximately $25 million per year. As Manager of Healthcare Economics and Analysis, I appreciated an entirely different facet of the business, even becoming published in the Value and Health Journal, on the benefits of SKU rationalization.I have a BBA and a MACC from the University of Georgia.
