Kvarts Innovation was founded in 2001 based on an invention for Banedenmark (The Danish Railway Service) and has since delivered innovative projects and consulting tasks from idea to solution within management, hardware development, software development, physical security and public administration.The tasks have been solved in collaboration with Danish and international partners and resulted in tangible results in more than 80 countries worldwide.

For Specsavers, I had the pleasure of managing several nationwide projects from business requirements to final roll-out.In collaboration with Specsaver's large organization and across professions and borders we succeeded in implementing IT and hardware solutions that improve people's lives and generate business.

As a CTO at Biometric Solutions, I was establishing and leading a fantastic team delivering product development, production, customer installation, purchasing and asset tracking.- Building the right team for the task.- Development of new products.- Consolidation of production and supplier cooperation.High quality and scalability was achieved, based on 3D documentation and learning as part of the work processes.Main team results:- Product development: Three product lines redeveloped and all products CAD documented.- Production: Implementation of sourcing strategy and quality control and implementing new production line.- Technical implementation: Improving rollout capability and asset tracking systems.- Production facilities: Relocating and improving production and warehouse facilities and processes.Rapid growth, significant expansion of product range and appointment to Gazelle company (Danish growth elite award)

In 2010-2013, I established and managed a team developing and implementing the Danish biometric capturing system for passports, visas and residence cards at all Danish representations abroadThe project included:- Hardware development- EU tenders- Integration to IT systems- Physical adaptations of the representations- World wide deployment- Establishing of a service and support sectionIn 2006-2010, I was responsible for increasingly heavy projects across the Ministry of Foreign Affairs's Security Office as well as "Travel and Residence" department.In 2002 to 2005, I worked alongside my engeneering studies with product development and installations at the Danish embassies abroad.Main solved tasks:- Establishment and daily management of biometrics unit with permanent and loosely associated architects, technicians and logistics staff.- Technically responsible for system development, implementation and operation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs biometrics capturing system.- Project manager of approx. 75 physical and safety upgrades due to biometrics requirements.- Technical design of biometric recording equipment in collaboration with designer.- Compilation of EU tenders.- Project participant in the development of digitized passport issuance IT system.- Project management of major security projects at the representations, including negotiation and project management and over 50 overseas stays.- Applications for EU funds.- Analysis and implementation of "Better access to citizen service abroad" including expanded use of honorary consulates, as well as the establishment of a travel solution in the citizen service area.- Negotiations with other Nordic countries on representation agreements. Analysis, coordination and meeting management.- Idea developer and producer at major group events, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' annual staff day.
