As a Data Scientist at Syracuse University, I am responsible for:- Supporting applied research and the development of innovative data science solutions by designing, building, publishing, and monitoring web applications, reports, APIs, and other tools to support decision-makers in addressing complex business issues.- Working with leadership to architect Enrollment’s suite of data science products in a way that enhances the user experience by standardizing design elements, reducing product overlap, and integrating data where appropriate.- Contributing to the development of data science models and algorithms for business analytics by building data pipelines, feature engineering, and exploring machine learning algorithms.- Responding to ad-hoc queries and perform deep-dive analyses in support of Enrollment planning and operations via reports, data visualizations, presentations, and/or emails
