I am currently completing my junior year at the University of South Florida, Tampa campus. My major is Accounting, and my current GPA is 4.0. My expected graduation date is the spring of 2025. From my course work at USF, I have further developed my skills, such as time management and communication, that are needed to be productive in the workplace. Additionally, some courses, like Computers in Business, have required me to utilize software such as Excel and Tableau, allowing me to increase my proficiency in both.During my time in high school, I enjoyed taking a Principles of Accounts course and by the end of high school it was one of my best subjects. I then entered my high school’s Sixth form program, the equivalent of community college, and furthered my studies in Accounting by taking Accounting Units 1 and 2. After finishing Sixth form, I achieved placing 11th in Jamaica for Accounting Unit 1 in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE). Subsequently after completing my time in undergraduate, I hope to obtain my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and possibly a Master's degree in Accounting.
