Jacob is a lighting designer with years of experience working with the grandMA2 lighting console. He has successfully led lighting teams and pays meticulous attention to every detail while keeping safety the top priority at every job site.

I Create custom videos for various clients on a contract basis such as video, motion graphics, editing, multi cam editing, music videos, testimonials, etc. I am also hired to run camera, video direct, video switching, or operate camera jibs for any freelance gigs.

Responsible for editing and visual coverage of news events in a fair, unbiased and accurate manner. Photographs news events, both live and to digital file, for news events and programs. Edits material to match script prepared by reporter, producer or associate producer using in-house or field locations as needed. Works with reporter to get complete stories and makes suggestions on how a story should be produced. Keeps assigned equipment and issued vehicle in good working condition and files all required paperwork. Ability to set-up remotes to allow transmission of digital file feeds or live-from-the-field reports back to the station.

I working closely with the assignment editor to go out and capture VO's and VOSOTs of events, news, and breaking news going on throughout San Diego for KUSI. I also am responsible of going out and setting up a live truck for live hits with a reporter thru microwave and or wireless backpack(LiveU). There are also days where I work in the edit bay and edit for Good Morning San Diego, KUSI's daily 5 hour morning news show.

Photographer for All Sports Report segment on 6:00 PM, 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM News. I am also a photographer for the Prep Pigskin Report, San Diego's #1 high school football game coverage every Friday night at 10:30 PM on channel 9/51.
