    Characterization of Cu(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 thin films for photovoltaic applications by means of Raman Spectroscopy. I investigated the relation between the deposition parameters, the microstructure of the films, and the efficiency of the resulting solar cell devices. I also worked with other complementary surface characterization techniques, particulary X-Ray diffraction and Auger Electron Spectroscopy, and occasionally with FTIR, XPS, SEM, and TEM/TED. Besides the experimental work, I also developed dynamic models for predicting the Raman spectra of different polytypes.
