Jacob is a staff computational biologist in the Satpathy Lab. Current projects include analysis of single cell multi-omics datasets to investigate immunology and immuno-oncology, investigating cellular origins of tubal-ovarian cancer, exploring molecular associations underlying Turner Syndrome biology. Graduated with a Master's in Bioinformatics and Computational Biomedicine at Oregon Health and Science University. Thesis project focused on analysis of DNA methylation using targeted bisulfite sequencing data to investigate in congential heart defects in Turner syndrome. In addition to thorough computational experience, Jacob has extensive wet bench experience with stem cell culture, single cell sequencing, and the manufacturing of PCR based HLA testing devices.Jacob enjoys learning, cooking, and baking in his free time.
