Current• Prototype Development: Developed prototypes of different hardware and software solutions that allow autonomous navigation of a low cost micro aerial vehicle using embedded hardware. • Software development in C/C++: Consistently developed software in C/C++ for embedded systems (microcontroller and single board computers) using frameworks like ROS and libraries such as OpenCV and PCL among others. • Computer Vision and Robotics Research: Carried out research on computer vision and robotics topics such as: pose estimation from 2D images, 3D point cloud registration, object detection, segmentation, micro aerial vehicle navigation and control. This research led to three published scientific publications and fourth being finished at the moment. • Scientific Writing and Communication: Wrote and reviewed scientific research papers, thesis, scholarship proposals and technical reports. Presented the work at conferences.
