Hello! I am a second year, full-time graduate student in Georgetown University’s Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program, previously employed full-time as a Human Resources Assistant with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), working primarily with the Fund’s staff assigned to overseas offices in Europe and Asia.My love affair with international and security studies began in high school debate, when I tried (and often failed) to research foreign policy and, in particular, East Asian politics. This led to an even more torrid affair with Chinese politics, language, and foreign policy, one which I maintained throughout much of my college career. In my research and writing, I strive to ensure that the work I produce is of exceptional quality the first time, and immaculate quality the second. This is probably the reason I'm the first person people go to (in spite of my protests) for assistance with their work, whether it be proofreading for proper conventions or clarity, or in affirming the statistical or procedural accuracy of whatever work they have at hand. In addition to being a published author on Chinese foreign policy, I enjoy practicing and utilizing my foreign language abilities in Mandarin, German, Spanish and Japanese to enhance my research efforts. I believe that any kind of work ought to be done well and with a heavy dose of fun. I also have a healthy competitive streak, which shows up everywhere from the video games I play to the reports I write. I'm hoping to find a wonderful position that I can contribute to wholly my love for foreign affairs, thirst for competition, and desire for fun! Let's connect!

Store AssociateAramark Refreshment Services Sep 2016 - May 2018Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, UsI spent my last two years of college working 25-35 hours a week at a fast-paced "express" eatery on a large college campus, preparing everything from Starbucks brand beverages to KFC brand fried chicken to serve customers. My shifts were evenly divided into front-facing responsibilities, including greeting and serving customers, and into clerical work, such as filing paperwork, scheduling orders using automated tracking systems, and communicating with all levels of management.Although there was a demand for speedy service, I made it a point to connect individually with every customer, as customer service and satisfaction is a tremendous point of personal pride for me. Because of my customer service abilities, I received multiple commendations from customers, upper management, and human resources alike.I regularly picked up extra shifts at my own store and other express eateries on campus, and earned a reputation as being a focused, efficient, and optimistic worker. I regularly trained new hires (including a new supervisor) and made sure that food preparation and cleanliness exceeded the expectations of all inspectors. -
