Welcome to my LinkedIn, my name's Jacob and I'm a serial social entrepreneur interested in Scaling Impact, Tech for Good and Criminal Justice Reform.I'm the proud founder of Offploy and our mission is to make society safer by reducing re-offending. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to turn their life around, and my organisation supports socially excluded people to maximise their life's potential.My journey as an entrepreneur hasn't always been smooth sailing. I achieved early success with The Lazy Camper, but unfortunately found myself in personal debt. I made the regrettable mistake of selling drugs at a music festival to pay it off, and ended up facing the consequences of my actions. However, this experience gave me a new perspective on the criminal justice system and motivated me to create Offploy.As a founder, I've overseen Offploy's impact by systemising and digitising the organisation's paperwork, reporting, and quality management. As a result of this commitment to digitise and scale impact I have co-founded Apogee Development, which provides CRM consultancy services to help other organisations achieve similar growth and impact. I'm passionate about increasing the capacity of the social sector to make a positive impact on society which I proudly champion from my position as a board member of Social Value UK.I challenge society to question their assumptions about socially excluded people and to support those who are seeking to turn their lives around. I truly believe that everyone deserves a second chance, and I'm living proof that resilience is key to overcoming life's challenges.

After being arrested for possession with intent to supply, I was sentenced to a 28 month sentence. I served nine and a half months in prison, a further 4 and a half on house arrest.During my time in prison I worked for The St. Giles Trust as a peer advisor. I was one of five residents who would help fellow prisoners with housing, Job Centre claims and debt.
