Within SBI, I learned about CDC's organizational policies and structure, risk management, authority delegation, and about public health practices. I participated in meetings within the Federal Advisory Committee Act Program, Management Analysis Unit, and Business Integrity and Strategic Management Unit (BISM), as well as a Governance Board meeting and an Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices meeting. I completed a project within BISM to update the Portfolio Advisors' internal communication network for the Centers, Institutes, and Organizations that CDC oversees.
