Jacob Rudolph has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Minnesota. Jacob returned to the University of Minnesota and obtained a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Management, a Law Minor from the Walter F. Mondale School of Law, and a Certificate in Diversity/Equity/Inclusion.For 13 years prior to returning to the University of Minnesota, Jacob was employed by the Jordan (MN) Police Department, where he served on patrol and spent time in investigations. Jacob completed an internship at Ecolab in the Summer of 2022 focused on improving talent acquisition onboarding processes. Jacob spent a year with Turnberry Solutions in the Crew early talent development program as a Project Management Associate. Jacob was part of a client team working on software implementation for a client based in the health insurance and benefit coordination industry. Jacob is now the Human Resources Business Partner for Progressive Rail based in Lakeville, MN. Jacob is responsible for all things related to Human Resources including employee relations, coordination and administering benefit programs, and the candidate selection process to name a few. Progressive Rail operates 10 short-line railroads across the country providing last mile rail car transportation.
