Working as a general COVID-19 prevention assistant with the Philadelphia Department of Health. - Remote responsibilities include meeting minutes, organizing focus groups & listening sessions, identifying vaccine barriers, helping with the creation of PDPH monthly newsletter, etc. - In-person responsibilities included gathering information on proportions of mask-wearers in public in the city through CCTV footage, as well as distributing and packaging Kinsa thermometers at various COVID-19 testing sites. - Contributed to a MMWR (Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report) in the CDC's publication on mask-wearing rates.

Worked in the kitchen preparing dishes that were cooked/nearly ready to be taken to customers. Delivered food and drinks from kitchen to dining room, where wait staff served. Extremely high intensity, forced me to learn to multitask and work efficiently.

Worked a part-time position at the Urban Technology Project where I got much of my basis in web design, as I learned to code HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Fixed and/or prepped laptops for the fall semester at underfunded schools throughout Philadelphia, such as the High School of the Future. Attended biweekly sponsored professional development sessions in downtown Philadelphia.

Taught me much of my people skills. Attended a week-long orientation where I explored my strengths and weaknesses as a leader. Eventually was assigned to a cabin of 13-14 year old boys, where I worked hand-in-hand with counselors to oversee all camper activities, including supervision of daily activities, conflict resolution between campers, and emotional support. Ensured campers' completion of daily chores. Assisted on area duty, which involved putting campers to bed and making sure cabins were quiet.
