Oversee the systems development of a Massively Multiplayer Online Educational Game funded by the Department of Education (DOE). - Lead architect responsible for Server Side Technologies and E‐Commerce. - Designed RESTful API that manages entire platform. - Systems infrastructure design and implementation. - Implemented software development lifecycle processes and strict use of frameworks.

Brought in to manage and provide advanced e‐commerce experience for a project that was out of scope and stalled. A major requirement was that there had to be a unified management interface which was solved using Magento’s native module system.- Developed a module allowing one installation of Magento to power multiple client stores for Software as a Service implementation. This required major rewrites of the default ACL, Website, Users and Roles modules with minor tweaks to all modules. This was accomplished while leaving Magento’s native upgrade path open.- Created a Distributor module to allow one administrator to setup and control multiple distributors from one interface. Each distributor could setup multiple stores and control language, content, products, currency, shipping and branding on a per store basis.- Heavily modified CMS module to allow administrators to create multiple sections, i.e. Blogs, News and Press Releases and set parent pages. Each distributor is able to update their unique sub‐pages and these pages are then combined using rules created by the administrator. Created a menu interface that creates menus via a drag and drop interface. Added versioning, article approval, comments, categories, tags, RSS feeds and WYSIWYG functions.- Built PCI compliant Recurring Billing module that allowed users to move items from their shopping cart into the module. Complemented it with an advanced scheduler and full audit trail that creates all transactions in Magento via a custom sales API.- Modified Order Management workflow and developed several small modules including Photo Gallery, Affiliates, Photo Ranking and Simple Blog.- Migrated customer information and sales data into Magento from Interchange a Perl based e-commerce system.- Consulted on new hosting environment, development environment, PCI compliance and software development lifecycle.

Handled all responsibilities related to IT, web development, software development and end user support. Key Accomplishments:- Managed two departments with six employees.- Designed and developed membership management and recurring billing system that supports 20,000 plus members and integrates with Microsoft Retail Management System, Great Plains and online store. The entire system was built on the CodeIgniter PHP framework for MSSQL/WAMP and MySQL/LAMP.- The administration section supported a full Member Relation Management system with billing and robust audit architecture. This system was able to scale to hundreds of locations each containing an unlimited number of billing profiles. Members are able to manage the memberships and update information.- Developed online store with CRE Loaded that integrated with multiple distributors. Created software that allowed users to manage products, inventory and orders with Microsoft Retail Management System.- Implemented numerous websites, blogs, micro sites and simple e‐commerce for products, divisions, intranet and miscellaneous projects. - Developed and implemented multiple business reporting tools that streamlined the inventory and ordering processes.- Complete corporate infrastructure overhaul to a virtual environment powered by VMware ESX with the removal of Microsoft Small Business server, implementation of Microsoft 2008 server with Active Directory and Exchange. Replaced network hardware, rewired network and documented entire infrastructure.
