Developed and released engineering for two aircraft modifications that each required planning of which engineering to revise and which to create from scratch, and creation and approval of the change authority which required presentations to the engineering review boards. After the change authorities were approved, handled the creation and release of multiple PDPs concurrently, and provided support to other entities while they were creating the planning for the modifications. Once implemented, both modifications will improve aircraft availability.Created several new surface treatment modifications that utilized existing, approved aircraft materials in alternate ways to improve aircraft availability and reduce maintenance while complying with strict aerodynamic and low observable requirements.Designed a composite part with complex curvature using CATIA V5 and FiberSIM, and supported the tooling group while they made the tooling designs and developed the layup process.Gained leadership experience as the responsible engineer throughout the entirety of one project involving lab coordination and testing. Produced results that allow certain in-service parts to be used for a longer time.Supported the analysis and revision configurations of two (2) Interface Control Documents (ICDs), one (1) mechanical and one (1) electrical, for a certain aircraft subsystem. Fielded questions and supported in-person meetings with the customer on both ICD configurations and revisions.Provides engineering support to internal and external customers including assistance for corrosion repair dispositions, and answers questions regarding Emergency Support Requests (ESRs) and previous and ongoing projects.

Contracted to Iridium Satellite Communications. Gained experience in the installation, maintenance, and management of a large communications network and data center.

Gained experience using the Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF). Completed trade studies on topics such as data center topology, convergence of data systems, service oriented architecture, data synchronization, programming languages, and message brokers.
