In this role, I oversaw the Commuter Student Resource Center which served approximately 2500 students per week. I was responsible for supervising our student staff members and ensuring appropriate staffing coverage during our hours of operation. As an office aide, I assisted the CSRC Director with programming and events intended to connect commuter students to available university and community resources. In this role, I served as an academic tutor for elementary students at Betsy Ross Elementary (in Chicago). I was responsible for coordinating enrichment activities for our program participants and developing weekly lesson plans. Additionally, I participated in weekly professional development trainings.
