I'm the principal of Jacobs Consulting & Executive Coaching, which helps CEOs, owners, and senior executives at PR, communications, advertising, and marketing agencies achieve and surpass their goals by becoming more effective, inspired and inspiring leaders. We do this through leadership coaching. We also help those agencies grow business, manage for profitability, improve client service, and enhance team performance, communications, and leadership skills. We do so via training and consulting. I've been coaching since 2007, and hold Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentials from the International Coach Federation (ICF). I'm also accredited as a Certified Professional Coach, Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, and a COR.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. Before launching my companies, I spent 25 years in management and leadership positions with several PR agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather PR and Marina Maher Communications (MMC). I share my thoughts on leadership via “Taking The Lead,” my video podcast with leaders I respect and admire on the Taking The Lead page of our website as well as my quarterly column in PRSA’s Strategies & Tactics. I sit on the board of the PRSA Tri-State District and present regularly on leadership, new business, and client service at the PRSA Counselors Academy Spring Conference and other PRSA conferences. I've presented on these topics to a variety of global PR and communications networks.
