In 2003, he obtained a postgraduate degree in company management (Bedrijfskunde, EHSAL Management School, Brussels).In 1995 he started to practice law, specialising in commercial law, intellectual property law and ICT-law. He became a company lawyer (July 2001-March 2007) and was responsible for the legal department of ISABEL, a leading service provider in e-Banking, e-Business (i.a. electronic invoicing) and e-Government.
