▶ Transition enterprise React Native app from a 3rd party authentication provider (Auth0) to an in-house authentication solution while maintaining high security due to attacks using stolen credentials and phishing in order to steal credit card information. Subsequent attacks were shut down in a matter of hours rather than the weeks it took before. Used REST to connect to authentication service and GraphQL for data post authentication.▶ Implement a state machine (using Xstate javascript library) to manage app state for auth.Implement new security measures to foil active hacking and phishing attacks as they occur including 2-factor authentication, 3-factor authentication (emailed link that relies on a session cookie in app logging in), and dynamically configurable nonce-based authentication.
