As Senior Program Director for Digital Resources at the Episcopal Church Foundation, Jacob's work focuses on managing programs and resources for the congregational vitality and sustainability of communities throughout The Episcopal Church. Jacob has significant responsibility for coordinating the work of this team and managing programs, resources, and other initiatives. Some of these responsibilities include:-Serving as project manager for the redesign and implementation of existing and emerging congregational development programs.-Coordinating efforts to create online courses consistent with other ECF program initiatives.-Assisting in the research, development, and implementation of new ECF programs and participating on data analysis & other interdepartmental working groups.-Assisting in sourcing tools and resources for Vital Practices and providing impact and collaboration stories for ECF’s communications and development efforts.

Jacob primarily serves as liaison between the outreach team, parish volunteers, and church partners to coordinate the execution of outreach programs (focused on prison reentry ministries, combating food insecurity, promoting education access, mental health support, and addressing homelessness) - this includes scheduling/leading meetings, providing strategic decision-making to facilitate program success, and providing tangible support at fundraising/volunteer events.On a monthly basis, Jacob also synthesizes written and multimedia content from outreach leaders to compose a monthly Outreach Digest, a newsletter shared with the entire parish and church partners to optimize program engagement. Seasonally, Jacob also provides additional support to major fundraising events (i.e., Christmas toy drive).

As a Fellow in the New York Service and Justice Collaborative, Jacob enters the nationwide network of the Episocpal Service Corps. NYSJC, and ESC as a whole, provides young adults with a year of service, leadership, and discernment, grounded in values of social justice. This includes:-Living in intentional community with the other Fellows, providing support and accountability to each other throughout the service year. -Engaging with the local community, through actions such as volunteering at the local church community, Church of the Ascension.-Overseeing NYSJC’s social media presence by crafting Instagram posts, interacting with other programs, and updating the website when necessary.-Exploring, engaging, and discussing various faith and social justice topics, such as systemic racism, nonviolence, the Stonewall Uprising, and capital punishment, in weekly Spiritual Formation sessions.

Jacob engaged in all facets of research fulfillment and project execution – most notably the exceptional design, implementation and delivery of new, innovative methods for capturing and analyzing consumer insights. He also supported in research design, operations process, methodological frameworks, analysis and creative & innovative deliverables, with a keen eye toward excellence and innovation across all facets of the client lifecycle.

Mundelein Center For Fine And Performing Arts

Jacob worked and at times, managed, a team oriented toward marketing for the box office through various media platforms in order to connect people as well as other organizations to the Department of Fine and Performing Arts.

With travel and research grants provided by the Loyola University Chicago Matteo Ricci Fellowship program, Jacob had the opportunity to conduct a yearlong independent comparative research project in Rome, Italy and Beijing, China. His research (secondary research, photo data collection, onsite observations, descriptive interviews) had him develop qualitative insights on religious image devotion trends in the two countries. After compiling observations and referring to secondary sources, Jacob developed his hypothesis outlined in an academic paper of nearly 50 pages (with the possibility of publishing in the future).

John Felice Rome Center - Rome Area, Italy

As the Student Office Assistant, Jacob designed, wrote, and published an informational and entertaining weekly newsletter to all students. His job also consisted of creating and publishing informational signs and posters to inform students of campus programs and events. He also worked on various projects developing and curating creative content (photos, videos, graphics, etc.) to be used in marketing projects for the Student Life Team at the Rome Center.

Jacob worked closely with underperforming, inner-city Catholic grade schools to boost enrollment through email, print, and social media marketing in both English and Spanish. He also designed and curated Facebook Ads and managed several social media accounts to promote school events and scholarship offerings.

Beijing City, China

Jacob wrote for the organization's weekly newsletter, assisted with its social media campaigns, and studied the organization's analytics to improve site visits and maximize its member participation.

Chicago, Il

During his time with the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce, Jacob assisted with the digital marketing plans for the chamber and businesses within the Lakeview community. He also provided hands-on support and critical feedback for marketing for events hosted by the chamber. Throughout his time, Jacob also researched and compiled Lakeview-specific content intended for a joint project between the chamber and travel/storytelling app, Vamonde.

Loyola University Chicago

Jacob developed and facilitated programs to promote college access to high school students from backgrounds of low socioeconomic statuses. He received ‘hands-on’ training with conflict management and solution-making and also performed administrative and clerical duties such as working at a desk, filing paper work, etc.
