Provided leadership in fundraising, communication and general management functions in the U.S. office of this Africa-based nonprofit. ALARM works in eight countries in east and central Africa to train church and community leaders, promote peacebuilding and reconciliation among tribes and other groups in conflict, and empower the marginalized through holistic ministry. • Worked with staff in Africa and the U.S. to promote ALARM's work to foundations, individuals and churches. Responsible for successful grant applications and new fundraising initiatives.• Involved in all aspects of the organization's marketing and communication, including development of a redesigned website, production of the annual report, implementation of a new donor database, and development of new marketing materials. • Spearheaded ALARM's first fundraising dinner in 2009, which surpassed its financial goals in a difficult climate.

IT Transition Services is a highly successful executive search firm specializing in placing information technology executives in the healthcare arena. During my tenure, the company placed over 1,000 executives in more attractive jobs. I was responsible for finance, human resources, accounting, tax, payroll and related functions.

Managed the process of analyzing the financial impact to AMR Corporation of acquiring various companies, as well as divesting certain companies within the corporation. In cases where the deal was financially beneficial, I was involved in all aspects of its execution from negotiation to final closing.
