Creative executive with decades of experience making stuff that grows brands.I am curious by nature. Advertising (which I knew I wanted to do at the age of 8) satisfied this curiosity by giving me the ability to work across and learn about many different industries - from consumer goods and financial services to television and video games. Plus airlines, travel, candy, health & beauty, hospitality...After a successful career on the creative side of advertising I longed to better foster my strong strategic skills in marketing a brand. (I love the power of a brand.) Looking to jump to the client side I found an opportunity with LIfetime Networks. This position not only facilitated my indoctrination (read, "threw me in the deep end") into the wildly paced world of television but allowed me to step into a larger marketing role. Moving to Discovery as SVP of Marketing finally allowed my to use both my strategic and creative skills to solve many problems through traditional media, ad sales partnerships, digital and social medias.Bit by the entrepreneur bug I next took on the challenge of helping to form and market a new brand at a start-up working in the loyalty and customer acquisition space. I stayed in the start-up world working in healthcare while expanding my own creative content business.My little free time but mine is spent cooking, attending live music (PRE-LOCKDOWN), and loving my wife, two kids and rescued puppy.
